Golden Globes Awards Nominees Complete List

It’s been a busy week for Hollywood honors: Wednesday morning the SAG Awards nominations were announced — Thursday, it was the Golden Globes’ turn.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) unveiled its 2016 Golden Globe Awards nominees from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Angela Bassett, America Ferrera, Chloë Grace Moretz and Dennis Quaid had the honors.

Next month, Best Motion Picture, Drama will come down to “Carol,” “Mad Max: Fury Road,” “The Revenant,” “Room” and “Spotlight.” Top TV Musical/Comedy nominees are “Casual,” “Mozart in the Jungle,” “Silicon Valley,” “Transparent,” “Orange is the New Black” and “Veep.”

Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama will be either Bryan Cranston (“Trumbo”), Leonardo DiCaprio (“The Revenant”), Michael Fassbender (“Steve Jobs“), Eddie Redmayne (“The Danish Girl”) or Will Smith (“Concussion”). On the small screen, the year’s best drama actress trophy will go home with Catriona Balfe (“Outlander”), Viola Davis (“How to Get Away With Murder”), Eva Green (“Penny Dreadful”), Taraji P. Henson (“Empire”), or Robin Wright (“House of Cards”).

The 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards, hosted once again by Ricky Gervais, will air live on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016 at 8 p.m. ET, from the very same hotel.
